‘Invisibility Cloak’ Makes Tanks Look Like Cows(one page)

Summary:
The British defense company BAE Systems has created "Invisibility Cloak" that can make a tank look like a cow. The patented system, called the Adaptiv, uses matrix of hexagonal “pixels” that can change their temperature very quickly. It allows the tank to be effectively invisible in the infrared spectrum or to make it look like an object even a cow. The current system can allow the tank to hide from heat-seeking missiles, drones and heat sensitive goggles. Since the panels that are used are strong they can be a source of protection for the tank. The panels can also be big or small for different resolutions. This technology is also cost effective. They also hope to make more different kinds of panels in the different electro-magnetic spectrum.

Reaction:
I thought that this technology was very cool. I like the fact that it can be made different sizes for different jobs. Also that it cane make the tank look like any object. I thought that they could make it look like a cow to was funny. I like this technology and how they use it for stealth. I can't wait until I see a T.V. special on it when it is in working order, now that would be cool.
